Deeks Lake lies on the Howe Sound Crest Trail, about 7 kilometres from its northern trailhead at Porteau Cove. The trail gains 1,000 metres as it enters the northshore mountains, getting progressively steeper as it approaches the lake. A few waterfalls make for interesting stops, and a pretty lake surrounded by sheer peaks is your reward at the end.
