Black Mountain is a short but steep trail - 350 metres of elevation over 2.4 kilometres - to a rocky summit with partial views, surrounded by inviting alpine lakes. A trail continues for a further 2.4 kilometres to Eagle Bluffs and a spectacular view of West Vancouver, Howe Sound and the Georgia Strait.
