The Joffre Lakes Provincial Park is on the Duffey Lake Road, some 30 km east of Pemberton, BC, and a full three hours' drive from Vancouver. The trail takes you along the shores of three small turquoise lakes in the shade of the Mattier glacier. The hike is relatively short and easy - in fact, at 5 kilometres and 400 metres of elevation gain, it must offer one of the highest ratios of scenery to effort available!
